Garment Care Guide

Caring for your clothes shouldn’t be complicated. Follow these simple steps to keep your TSAN pieces looking sharp and lasting longer.

Wearing

Rotation is Key : Give your garments a rest between wears to help them retain their shape and freshness.

Avoid Friction : Triacetate and silk fabrics are delicate — try to avoid wearing bags or backpacks directly over these materials to prevent pilling and snagging.

Washing

Professional Dry Clean Recommended : For delicate fabrics like triacetate and silk, professional dry cleaning is the best option to ensure long-lasting quality.

Hand Wash or Delicate Cycle ( if necessary ) : If dry cleaning isn’t an option, hand wash in cold water or use a delicate cycle with a gentle detergent. Avoid bleach, as it can damage delicate fibres.

Use a Mesh Bag : For machine washing, place items in a mesh bag to protect them from snagging.

Skip the Fabric Softener : Delicate fabrics don’t need fabric softeners, which can break down fibers over time.

Ironing

Low Heat for Delicate Fabrics : Set your iron to a low or silk setting and use a pressing cloth to avoid direct heat on the fabric.

Steam, Don’t Press : If possible, use a steamer. Steam is gentler and will help maintain the fabric’s natural drape.

Drying

Air Dry Only : Lay items flat on a clean towel to air dry. Avoid hangers while drying, as delicate fabrics can stretch or lose shape when wet.

Keep Away from Heat : Avoid direct sunlight and high-heat dryers, as both can fade colors and damage fibres.

Storage

Hang Carefully : Store on padded or wide wooden hangers to maintain shape. For silk and triacetate, consider folding if hanging might stretch the fabric.

Breathable Storage : Use cloth garment bags rather than plastic, as they allow fabrics to breathe and prevent moisture buildup.

Following these steps will help keep your TSAN garments looking fresh, stylish, and ready for any occasion.
